World Book Week: Shelfie Quiz Number 2 ...

Thanks to everyone who had a go at our first shelfie quiz yesterday. You can find out the answers, including who all those copies of Moby Dick belonged to, below. 

Today's quiz features teachers from the Maths, Computing and Engineering departments.  Can you figure out whose interests range from Murakami to Monty Don? Where does Hogwarts meet the Night Circus, or Tolkien hunt the White Tiger, or Howard Marks prop up Jack Reacher? Whose bookshelves span coding to cricket, or Dante to Wodehouse? Meanwhile, here are the answers to yesterday's quiz. Some of the shelfies proved more challenging than others.  A mere 30% of you thought that Shelfie Number 1 belonged to Mr Gardner (surely all those philosophy and politics books were a give away?)

62% of you thought that Shelfie Number 2, with its magnificent collection of Moby Dick pics belonged to Mr Hager, and you were absolutely right. And if seven copies weren't enough, we'd like to point out that he also has the entire novel - all 206,052 words of it - on a poster in his classroom. 

27% of you twigged that Shelfie Number 3 was Mr Espey: American literature, philosophy, theology film - the shelf that has it all ...

The sharp-eyed were quick to spot Jack Kerouac, Hamlet and Emily Dickinson on Shelfie Number 4, which meant that it very clearly belonged to Miss McLaughlin, as 29% of you correctly figured.  

The artistic, grey-hued shelves of Shelfie Number 5 made an elegant home for Miss Warner's books, as 26% of you deduced:

And 43% of you rightly concluded that Shelfie Number 6, featuring the odd book about film, was Miss McLaren's:
